BENALMADENA, COSTA DEL SOL
GOLFING
Golf Torrequebrada (Benalmádena, Costa del Sol) opened in 1976. The course was designed by José "Pepe" Gancedo, known as "the Picasso of golf." This 18-hole golf course is very well located, about 20 minutes from Malaga airport, Torremolinos and Fuengirola, and just 15 minutes from Villa Magica. The Club House with its panoramic views and privileged location overlooking the 18th hole street, offers all the modern amenities that one expects from a golf club of this category. Terraces, private event rooms, changing rooms, bar-restaurant, practice field and shop.
HORSE RIDING
A hack is a great way to enjoy both a horse ride and the beautiful Andalusian countryside.
The numerous stables around this area offer a variety of ponies and horses to suit beginners to experienced riders. Villa Magica will help you book the best horse-riding option for your day out.
HIKING
The Benalmadena landscape runs from the Malaga hills through streams and valleys down to the coast where the land meets the sea.
The “rutas senderismos” are well defined trekking routes of the hills surrounding Benalmadena. They are mapped out at each starting point, and along the way. Villa Magica can provide a hiking pack for hydration and sandwiches.
HIKING & SIGHTSEEING
IN THE CALAMORRO MOUNTAIN
The 15-minute Cable car trip from Tivoli Car Park carries its passengers to the peak of Monte Calamorro with its 800 m the highest mountain of the area. From the high point of the mountain you will have panoramic vistas of the whole town, to the coastline and to Gibraltar and the north of Morocco.
This route is the only means to transport you to the Jardín de las Águilas (eagles gardens) or to go to the recreation area of the Cima de Calamorro.
CYCLING IN ANDALUCIA
